Highlands Vista, located in South Lakeland, had Mid Florida Audio/Video install a Neighborhood Guard system to help monitor and improve security at its gates 24 hours a day. The system includes a CCTV system with (4) cameras to view all traffic coming and going in and out of the gates. The system also has a monitor gate keypad and mailbox area. The cameras are all high definition.
High-definition cameras help ID each vehicle’s make, model, style, etc. and the state-of-the-art license plate recognition camera is highly specialized with the ability to capture the tag ID in light or dark conditions and at many rates of speed. The 2-3 cameras feed back to a DVR that archives the information for many days.
