Cypresswood Golf & Country Club recently chose the Neighborhood Guard format to heighten the guardhouse surveillance for their community. The guardhouse is centrally located between the ingress and egress gates. Mid Florida utilized the Neighborhood Guard technology featuring the high-speed license tag identification, high definition overview cameras and 1080P, pentaplex DVR. The reinforcements now are the guard's eyes even when he's not looking! Cypresswood has high volume traffic through the gated area; the advanced technology of the cameras and DVR work in unison to minimize blur, compensate for all lighting conditions with IR bursts and allow customized viewing for every user with the motorized optical zoom on the cameras. Cypresswood is now monitored 24/7 even when the guard is diverted.

Lake Deeson Pointe, a gated community in north Lakeland, elected to complement their security gates to the subdivision with the addition of a Neighborhood Guard System. Mid Florida Audio/Video customized the Neighborhood Guard System for them and featured three high definition cameras: ingress overview, egress overview and egress license plate camera. While the overview cameras help identify the driver, make, model and color of the vehicle, the tag camera specifically views the egress license plates during daylight as well as total darkness - at speeds up to 60mph. Working in conjunction with the power gates at Lake Deeson Pointe, the Neighborhood Guard System records all incoming and outgoing traffic - all in high definition - to assist in the preservation of the security at this community. Highlands Vista, located in South Lakeland, had Mid Florida Audio/Video install a Neighborhood Guard system to help monitor and improve security at its gates 24 hours a day. The system includes a CCTV system with (4) cameras to view all traffic coming and going in and out of the gates. The system also has a monitor gate keypad and mailbox area. The cameras are all high definition.
Neighbor Guard’s cameras help ID each vehicle’s make, model, style, etc. and the state-of-the-art license plate recognition camera is highly specialized with the ability to capture the tag ID in light or dark conditions and at many rates of speed. The 2-3 cameras feed back to a DVR that archives the information for many days.
